Fourier Asset Management LLC/LLP is pleased to announce that Mark A Rieder has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Orlando Gemes, Founder and Chief Investment Officer, commented, “We’re thrilled to welcome such a seasoned and highly respected investor. Mark’s expertise will be instrumental as we expand our systematic and credit-centric investment strategies aimed at delivering consistent returns with low drawdowns and volatility.”

Mark currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of LaMar Assets, a global credit platform known for its agile approach to navigating dynamic markets. He previously spent a decade at GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, as Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager for Corporate Bonds in New York. Earlier in his career, he managed corporate credit portfolios at PartnerRe and worked as a high-yield bond research analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Mark is the author of Reminiscences of a Bond Operator: A Guide to Investing in Corporate Debt, praised by the CFA Institute as “an attractive guide to corporate bonds, professionally focused but accessible to analysts and portfolio managers of all experience levels.”
